Aheh or Eheh or Eh Eh or Eh are often heard when talking to the Naija....

A sign of confirm or mere saying "I hear you and understand".

Come to think of it, everyone does it... No? Different sound, same meaning...I use "ek" or "uhuh" or even "mmmhmmmm" a lot!

MALAYSIA: Hazim....(Jim Boy)

I have a brother with CP (cerebral palsy, since 3 m.o)...and how things are in the house, he is the MAN!

So when he "decided" to have a short RnR at the hospital...we pack everything to be with him.

Muhammad Hazim or Ajim Boy
28y.o this year, May 24th actually....he is truly a testament to us that even how slim it was in the beginning for him..he is still with us (28 years and counting) and for that we are thankful to Allah.

Many a times, due to his vegetative state (fits included) a mere sickness like flu, cough and fever could be fatal to him. I had lost count how many times his hospital trips are and the long days that follows it.

feeding time....thru the stomach tube (PEG)
these two are inseparable

This time, it was during Ramadhan (fasting month in Islam calendar). It was just a normal fever, but it didn't subside after a few days. We would continue giving the meds, but on hindsight we feel that it would be best if we send him to the hospital. We were lucky because it was a prelude to pneumonia... It took a while for him to recover, but atleast we didn't wait till the last minute, and I was back...phew.

Usually we would take him to hospital with the 'Grand Old Lady"...dad's 1978 Volvo Wagon. But since it was late in the evening and rush hour in Kuala Lumpur...we called the private ambulance. It arrived half an hour later, and sped off the Universiti Malaya Medical Centre.

don't like the colour...tell my dad.
It was his idea
He was there for the next few weeks and came back few days short of Hari Raya Aidilfiltri (Eid or Salah as they called it in Nigeria).

during last Eid with all of us...

Ajim and Mak Cik Su...
Worry, yes..but at least Mak Cik Su (aunt Su) is around and Zuhaira is back from UK with her husband. Afifa (the youngest, Ajim's sister) is around too...but until late September. She is coming to Africa!!! (hahaha antagonist of Coming to America by Eddie Murphy)

Hahahahah..typical me. Actually, I have another brother.. Azmeir..the second in command..but for some reason, we as in WE the WHOLE FAMILY would always forget about him. So it was the girls, Zuhaira and Afifa who would actually help things around and getting things organised. Thank Allah for sisters...

Love all of you...ALL THE WAY FROM NIGERIA
