The next day, SN informed there will be a breakfast together with the whole group instead of our designated 'canteen' (Two canteens in a group of 4 camper van). It was a get to know session.
the usual suspects....Radzi and Harun, first to eat |

We've been travelling for a few days already and we forgot we haven't been introduced properly to each other. That was the gathering for. The team spirit was already there since day one...and it was natural. Anyway, we introduced ourselves.
Apart from K or Kamalia Kamal who is a professional photographer (IG: kamaliakamal), the rest of us came from very diversified background which took up photography as a hobby and some quite seriously. We have home-makers, engineers, pharmacist, architect, business owners, student, interior designer etc. Well, I belong to the home-maker group along with Radzi. hahahahahaha...
We also received our group t-shirt with a huge number 13 at the back. "I'm a PHOTOGRAPHER, NOT A TOURIST" it said. Nice. I smiled at the number...13!
Right after that, we did venture the area. It was quite nice. The facilities (shower and toilet) were of modern design...but no water hose at the toilet. Great! Will be wiping my huge ass till it bleed.... Anyway, nice place and very clean. Oh ya, shower with hot water too!
The name of the place was Camping Wagenhausen
(GPS: N 47°39'43.89'' E 8°50'25.4'').
these must be the wagenhausen (wagon house?) |
children's playground |
It's good to install google translate to your phone |
that must be Coke... |
WC...water closet Look for WC if you need toilet |
The camping site was beside the Rhine river. Somewhere along this river is a huge waterfall, Rhine Falls. Europe's largest waterfall! That's where we are heading after this.

But before we leave, the customary fill in what's empty, off load whats full. I assisted with the filling of water to some of the camper van and Muhammad did too. We drove over to the office where there's a manhole for us to release the grey water (used water).
I didn't recall who had the honour of emptying the camper vans' WC tank. I did my share in Schwangau. It was quite an experience. Just don't too much about it. Of course it smell and smell bad too. But someone's got to do it. It's either that, or stop at the gas station or....a tissue and shovel, a quiet place in the bush. Your pick...
filling the water tank..a daily chore. An onboard screen by the rear door shows how much water (used/unused), battery power and heater. |
