Aheh or Eheh or Eh Eh or Eh are often heard when talking to the Naija....

A sign of confirm or mere saying "I hear you and understand".

Come to think of it, everyone does it... No? Different sound, same meaning...I use "ek" or "uhuh" or even "mmmhmmmm" a lot!

Pre-Assignment

B777-300ER, Emirates...awesome!!!

There are 170+ countries in the world and she chose Nigeria. This was in August, 2014.

Nigeria

I can't believe what I just heard (well the conversation of her being assigned to overseas had been on and off for quite some time). It was bordering absurdity and a downright lie. After all, you can't spell believe without LIE smack in the middle of it, right. It felt like being conned by a professional con artist....after all she IS the International Medical Marketing Manager. Marketing...damn!!! What so hard about it, just bring a basket and go to market to do your marketing... still seething with anger, I choose to just keep myself shut. Maybe it would go away in the morning...after all, nothing is confirm yet. Right?

WRONG!!!

We are going for a pre-assignment visit sometime in October 2014. I am so screwed. A lot is at stake and to name one is my profession as a Wealth Advisor (Prudential) from Muqmeen Group Agency in Kajang, Selangor.

My boss didn't take it well and even his boss rolled his eyes when he heard about it. He nicely searched in the internet and mentioned some statistics that made me sweat....in my pants. hahaha.. Anyway, we are going away for a while and maybe it won't happen after the pre-assignment. People do change their decision on daily basis....on many things.

Anyway, a trip on B777 would be nice after all. My first wide-body in so many years and having my passport stamped with Nigerian customs would be great instead of the usual Singapore or...ahem, Thailand. All I can do now is to enjoy the trip and not be a grumpy old man (read: asshole) for a change.

ONWARDS!!!
