Aheh or Eheh or Eh Eh or Eh are often heard when talking to the Naija....

A sign of confirm or mere saying "I hear you and understand".

Come to think of it, everyone does it... No? Different sound, same meaning...I use "ek" or "uhuh" or even "mmmhmmmm" a lot!

BELGIUM: Brussels: Going Home (Day 6)

Everything comes to and end....the worse part is when you somehow got the hang of it..but need to leave for home.

The name of our lodging during our stay was apartmensapart.com . They also advertise in Booking.com, the portal which we usually use for hotel reservation.

other location of the apartments
the living hall
 they prefer the sofa...
I just realized that, the first and third picture had a totally different setting, painting (I guess). But the apartment is nice and well maintained. The location is also good, I would not hesitate to choose this place again.

off we go...Alpha male always at the rear

main purpose
At the platform, we met Ramon. Like a good host, he was around when we arrived and now to send us off. Ramon and wife, Amelia came to the apartment few times for tea and dinner. We met Ramon in Lagos and we used to hang out on Wednesdays with some Dutch families in Lagos....but now he's back in Brussels for good.

tell me what you see?
At Gare du Midi (Brussels' South Railway station), we were quite early...very early actually and we had baguette and coffee at one of the cafe. We talked about lots of things. Work and current economic situation...till it was time for us to leave. We said our 'Good byes' and the next time we speak will be over WA or in FB.

The train hit 299km/h on our return leg, and this time around..we were at the First Class coach. There's a dedicated steward and we were served muffin, cakes and some fruits.

As soon as we arrived at Schiphol, Madam took us to one of these machine and print out our boarding pass. It was easy to use, functional and dispensed without a glitch. The only setback was at the screening counter, it must be rush hour during spring break and we spent a lot of time there without able to see the actual queue line.

At the gate, most of the passengers were already there and all impatient to get on board to get home. We just took our time, after all ticket comes with a seat. So no wahala (no problem). Anyone on our seat, just ask nicely to move to their own seat.

this is where usually reality sets in...in the skybridge
to the aircraft....no more holiday
So there you have it...great family bonding time...nice holiday, counting the days to Summer and Autumn.
